Snacks I’m Packing for Disneyland

If you’re looking to save some money on your next Disneyland trip, packing snacks is one way to do that! But, don’t forget to check out my post on how I saved nearly $2000 on our Disneyland vacation.

It’s been at least 15 years since my last visit to Disneyland, but after some research, I found out that a family of six could easily spend $300-$400 a day on food at the park. I’m not about that life. As Miss Frugal herself, I knew I would need to pack snacks to feed my feral kids and husband so that we wouldn’t have to spend a fortune on meals.

First, I purchased each of my four kids their own little cross-body bag/fanny pack so that they can carry their own snacks. They’ll be able to help themselves between rides or while we’re waiting in line. I normally hate neon colors, but I bought all bright colors to help me spot the kids in the crowd. Safety first!

Next, I did a big order with Thrive Market a few weeks before our trip. If you don’t have an account yet, you can use my link to sign up and save 40% on your first order! That’s a huge savings on your Disneyland snack haul.

We eat a mostly animal-based / whole foods diet, but don’t judge me because most of these items don’t strictly follow the rules. I did my best with items that would be kid-approved, low in added sugar, and safe without refrigeration. We plan to splurge on treats and savory snacks at the park anyway, yolo.

  • Mission Meats Kids Grass-Fed Beef Sticks - Tasty Original

  • The New Primal Snack Mates Sticks - Chicken & Maple,

  • NOKA Organic Superfood Smoothie - Apple Cinnamon Almond Butter

  • Nature’s Baker Gluten Free Fig Bars - Raspberry

  • Mavericks Snacks Sandwich Crackers Snack Packs - Cheddar

  • Thrive Market Paleo Snacks - Variety Pack

  • Simple Mills Sweet Thins - Honey Cinnamon Snack Packs

  • Annie’s Organic Cheddar Bunnies Crackers Snack Packs

  • Beekeeper’s Naturals Kid’s Throat Soothing Lollipops (in case someone starts feeling sick!)

A lot of these are individually wrapped items, so I can easily distribute them among the kids’ bags. You can find all of these products on Thrive Market, but some of them are also available on Amazon, so I’ll link those at the bottom of this post.

I’m also picking up a few things from Costco & Sprouts:

  • Liquid IV Packs

  • That’s It Bars

  • Larabars or Only Bars

Last, our hotel did not offer complimentary breakfast, so I’m packing food to keep in our room, as well, keeping in mind that we’ll only have a microwave and mini-fridge.

  • Bagels with cream cheese

  • Homemade muffins

  • Microwave oatmeal (Nature’s Path on Thrive Market)

  • Fully cooked breakfast sausage patties

  • Yogurt pouches

  • Hard-boiled eggs

  • Sandwich supplies

  • Gallons of water (why do hotels make it so hard to fill up your water bottle?)

I hope this list has helped inspire your snack haul! Let me know in the comments what else you’re bringing.
